MISSION STATEMENT
Multicultural Wellness Network, Inc., which is a non-profit 501 (C) 3 organization formed to provide public awareness and lifestyle change programs designed to emphasize the wellness concept.
PURPOSE
Our goal is to educate all segments of the population with a special focus on youth and minority groups. We will achieve our mission by implementing information and educational campaigns that emphasizes both prevention and intervention strategies. We will increase awareness regarding the disproportionate rates of hypertension, diabetes, kidney and other diseases that afflict minorities; support research and education relating to wellness, prevention, health promotion and organ and tissue donor awareness. We will empower and encourage local communities to take action.
PROGRAMS AND SERVICES
► ♥MOTTEP® Chicago/Northwest Indiana / Love Yourself, Take Care of Yourself
Minority Organ Tissue Transplant Education Program is the first program of its kind in the country (10 sites throughout the country). It is a grassroots organization dedicated to decreasing the number and rate of ethnic minority Americans needing organ and tissue transplants. Free health screenings provided when supplies available. www.mottep.org
► FIT FOR LIFE PROGRAM
Free exercise classes for the entire family. Providing not only time for families to exercise together, but to learn healthier lifestyles and better nutritional choices. In this way, we hope to see families find a bond in health and fitness. Assessment and screenings provided at the beginning and end of the program.
► SUBSTANCE ABUSE
Partner with area agencies to develop tobacco, alcohol, & drug control advocacy training, provided to youth and adults to develop community leaders who promote and support substance abuse control.
► CAREER CLOSET
Free business attire for men & women who are returning to or just starting work (Referrals only).
► HEALTH FAIRS
Host and set up workshops, presentations, and speakers for churches, organizations, schools, senior complexes etc.

Committed to providing and distributing educational information and maintaining contact with donor families, transplant recipients, dialysis patients and patients waiting.
